The most important relationship you’ll ever have is with yourself. Coaching offers a space to nurture that connection. Drawing on nearly a decade of experience as a therapist, I take a client-centered and action-oriented approach to help you gain clarity, release limitations, and move toward the life you truly want.
I believe your intuition already holds the answers. Together, we’ll quiet the noise, ground your system, and clear the blocks that keep you from accessing the truth that is already there.
A central part of this work is exploring boundaries—with yourself and with others. When your boundaries are clear and unwavering, you create more freedom in every area of your life.
I support people who are ready to move beyond prescribed ways of living and embrace their authentic expression. If you’re seeking a life that feels more genuine, liberated, and aligned with your values, I’m here to walk with you on that journey.

Couples Coaching
Relationships are mirrors. Sometimes they reflect back our best selves, and other times they bring up the parts of us we struggle with most. It’s natural for wires to get crossed at times.
When your relationships hit their challenge points, I’m here to help.
With couples I see my role as a translator—helping each partner express themselves in a way the other can hear. You may be speaking different dialects of the same language of love, and I help you bridge those gaps. Together, we’ll build the tools and shared language your relationship needs to feel more connected and supported.

Hi, I’m Frankie (she/her). In 2010, at 22, I was a miserable law student chasing a path that looked good but felt completely wrong. Coming from a family of doctors and lawyers, I hadn’t considered other ways of doing life. When I finally walked away, I asked myself: If this isn’t me, then who am I? That question became my north star.
Since then, I’ve followed my intuition—hit by hit—toward a life that feels like mine.
I moved towards work in community mental health and then earned my master’s degree in counseling psychology to become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Outside of work, I began following every activity and interest that could help me get to know myself: this included: yoga, workshops, movement, and immersing myself in music and art. Though it was highly impractical, I moved cities twice during this period on intuition alone knowing I needed chapters in Denver and New York.
In 2024, I rebranded from Elizabeth Sklar Gilbert (Liz Gilbert) to Frankie Ellie Sklar. It was prompted by two things at the same time: 1) a longtime nickname Frankie entered my everyday and I loved it, and 2) I began working on some writing and creative projects and I wanted to put them out in a different name than Elizabeth Gilbert the great of 'Eat, Pray, Love'.
And then in 2025, I switched my offering from therapy to coaching when I determined it was an even better fit for my work and life today.
My journey has been one of unbinding myself—releasing old frameworks at each juncture and stepping into freedom. Now, I help others do the same. Whether you’re feeling boxed in by expectations, seeking clarity, or simply craving a more aligned, alive life, I’m here to support you in discovering your own unique path.
Let’s explore what’s calling you.
